Fuquay Fly Rods, Ltd. (FFR) specializes in the art of building nodeless bamboo fly rods. Our fly rods are tried and true, tested on the trout streams of the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. In fact, those streams (the Watauga, Davidson, Crooked Creek, Roaring River, and others) are the very inspiration for the design of our fly rods, infused with a mix of our own style coupled with the timeless wisdom and teachings of the master rodmakers of our vintage craft.
