About Fuquay Fly Rods, Ltd.

Our bamboo rods are constructed on the outskirts of the historical town of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, a blended rustic and contemporary village located just south of Raleigh, our capital city. Fuquay-Varina's history was forged by the 1858 discovery of a natural spring that later gave the town its first incorporated name: Fuquay Springs. The spring water was popular for its purported healing Properties, and hotels were built and tourists came and spent, er, went. So, for good measure, we give our finished bamboo rods a good rub down with that magic spring water...'cause a fisherman can use all the luck he (or she) can get!
